Designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and his fashion brand

J. C. de Castelbajac (Jean-Charles de Castelbajac) – this French designer created his Fashion house in the middle of the twentieth century and became famous for his individual and very original style. Thinking outside the box and looking at fashion, the fashion designer differs from other designers, while for the most part he creates clothes designed for outdoor activities, everyday wear and peculiar costumes.
The Brightness of Life and the Embodiment of Ideas
The future designer was born in 1949, in a town called Casablanca (Morocco), in a completely unusual family. A little later, the family moved to Limoges (France). While living here, the boy attended a Catholic school, which he successfully graduated from. The family of the fashion designer wanted to see him in the military in the thirteenth generation, but Jean-Charles resisted the will of his parents and went to conquer the Fashionable Olympus.
Having aristocratic roots and knowing his family tree, since the nineteenth century, the young designer combined a wide variety of styles and trends in his works.
At first, the aristocrat worked as an assistant to designers, but already in 1968 a brand appeared, called Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. Spoiled and wayward, de Castelbajac boldly created fur coats and coats from teddy bears, wedding dresses from camouflage material, and puts funny prints and inscriptions on tracksuits.
Events and Dates
1969 – Castelbajac presented the first collection created according to his sketches, but presented under the logo of the company owned by his mother. Following this, a second collection was presented, which was created using oilcloths, floor cloths and sponges. Despite the avant-garde and the obvious strangeness of the materials used, the audience took the show with a bang.
1970 – photographs of models with the Jc de Castelbajac logo first appeared on the covers of glossy magazines. Thanks to his success and rapidly growing popularity, the fashion designer received a huge fee, thanks to which he was able to purchase his first car, a Harley Davidson.
1976 – Jean-Charles creates a line for Max Mara.
1982 – painting dresses appeared, including models painted by Robert Comba, Jean-Charles Bleu and Lulu Picasso. It should be noted that these clothes, despite all the originality and extravagance, surprisingly enjoyed a stunning success. Two years later, collections of "huge" sizes and graffiti dresses appeared.
1997 – brought the company the opportunity to create a collection of clothes for Pope John Paul II. The beginning of the new century has brought the brand the opportunity to create the only personalized collection for the Haute Couture Week in Paris.
Colorful, Unique, And Original
Jc de Castelbajac's clothes are characterized by rich colors, lifelines, beautiful shapes and unimaginable combinations of materials, colors and textures. If the company's first collections were characterized by radicalism and extravagance, then after the eighties everything changed in a slightly different direction.
The designer, remaining an adult man, plunges into childhood, offering his clients evening dresses with children's drawings, evening suits in bright colors and casual clothes of funny shapes. Over time, new clothing lines were added, including collections of furniture, accessories, interiors, and perfumes.
It is also interesting that Jean-Charles de Castelbajac even participated in the development of individual car design. In the recent past, the fashion designer signed a cooperation contract with Rossignol, for which he created designer ski clothes. كيفية الحصول على كود برومو 1xbet
