Bertrand Bonello did a great job making the movie "Saint Laurent, this is me." He so skillfully showed not so much the creative path of a fashion designer, but his personal life, what kind of person he was, what he felt. After all, he, like all of us, tends to dream, desire, love, and fear. Thanks to Bonello, we have learned all the details of Laurent's life, even those that he would not like to talk about. <br />

The highlight of the film is added by the passage in time, all the years of Laurent's life become available. It is simply impossible not to immerse yourself in this story, even the 60s of Paris are so qualitatively transmitted that while watching you catch yourself thinking — where am I? Really in 2015? We see the fashion house where Saint Laurent started his work, nightclubs, establishments, his meetings, ups and downs. And the process of creating his legendary collections! It feels like we are not in front of the screen, but next to it, with a living fashion master. <br />

The cast is chosen in the best possible way, you can't even dig in. Louis Garrel is great as the urban dude Jacques de Basher, who seduces Laurent. And for Gaspard Huel, the role has become the best in his entire career, and it is not yet known whether he will be able to surpass himself in the future. The atmosphere that he managed to convey evokes the deepest emotions.<br />

The "Yves Saint Laurent" trailer in Russian attracted the attention of the audience, and the result exceeded all their expectations. This is a brilliant picture that conveys not a biography, but the director's reflection on the work of a great designer who became a hostage to his work.<br />
