In Genshin Impact, these are the best tools for Freminet to have.
Freminet is one of the newest four-star DPS characters in Genshin Impact. He is a shy, skilled swimmer who hurts his enemies with both cold and physical damage. Because of his special elemental skill, his strikes are filled with ice, and every time he swings his greatsword, a special timer starts to run out.
He can start a new attack that does either cold damage, physical damage, or a mix of the two by using this skill again at different times during the timer. If you want to know which tools will do the most damage to him, read the list below.
Favonius Greatsword – Four Star
Freminet is meant to be played as an on-field DPS fighter, so most of his weapons focus on giving him stat boosts like bonus ATK or more damage or critical hits. Even so, tools that give Freminet and his team extra ER (energy recharge) can still be useful in some situations.
The Favonius Greatsword is a great example because when you make a critical hit, it gives off extra energy particles. They will fly around, so you can either catch them as Freminet or quickly switch to a different character and give them more elemental burst.
Snow-Tombed Starsilver – Four Star
Freminet can be built in two main ways because he can choose to do different amounts of physical or cold damage. For those who want to give Freminet a four-star weapon that does more damage, the Snow-Tombed Starsilver is the best choice.
Not only that, but Freminet’s elemental skill has a pretty long delay when his burst isn’t active. This weapon’s extra damage gives you an extra attack between your hits. It is said that when you hit enemies with this weapon, a big icicle will drop on them 60% of the time. This does extra damage if the enemies are already under the effect of cryo.
Prototype Archaic – Four Star
If you want an easy-to-get quick damage boost from Freminet, the Prototype Archaic is the best early-game claymore for you. You can forge this weapon at the blacksmith in Mondstat, and you can get it very early in the main story.
This is yet another claymore that lets you do damage again while you wait for your cooldowns to complete. If you use this greatsword to do basic hits on your enemies, you might set off a small AOE explosion that deals 240 percent of your character’s attack damage.
Serpent Spine – Four Star
If you’re having trouble giving your Freminet enough crit rate, this is the best claymore for you because it boosts your attack and gives you a big 27.6 percent more crit rate. You gain stacks of stats the longer you stay on the battlefield thanks to the weapon’s bonus. Each stat gives you 8% more damage and 2.4% more damage taken.
Because Freminet likes to play a lot during your team’s turns, this weapon works great with his gear, as long as you have heals ready to help him when he starts taking greater damage. Even though the Serpent Spine is a great choice for Freminet, this claymore is locked behind a paywall because you can only get it with the battlepass.
Tidal Shadow – Four Star
The Tidal Shadow is a craftable weapon that is based on Fontaine’s main gameplay concept of taking damage to boost your other numbers. It was added with the 4.0 update. More specifically, this weapon gives you a strong 41.3 percent attack, and when you heal, its passive gives you an extra 24 percent attack.
Due to the fact that Freminet is an on-field DPS character, he will spend most of his time auto-attacking, which means he could take plenty of damage. With an off-field healer like Kuki or Kokomi, you can regularly get a 75.3% boost to your total attack.
Skyward Pride – Five Star
There is a chance that you got enough free wishes to get this five-star claymore since the Skyward Pride is offered in the regular flag. This greatsword is part of the Skyward line in Eggy Car, so it will give you energy recharge, which will help you keep your burst ready when it’s time to use it again.
As an added bonus, the weapon’s passive gives you an extra 8% damage from all sources and creates an AOE tornado that does even more damage. This is called a vacuum blade, and it will deal eight different types of damage equal to 80% of your hit.
Song Of Broken Pines – Five Star
While the Song of Broken Pines is Eula’s only tool, Freminet can still use it if he is built to hurt people. This weapon gives you huge number boosts—a 20.7 percent bonus to physical damage and a 16 percent bonus to attack for free—that will make it easy for you to beat tough enemies.
The passive of this tool also makes your whole team stronger, not just your active character. Attack while using this weapon to get up to four stacks. When this number is reached, your whole team’s attack will be 20% stronger and their attack speed will go up by 12%.
Beacon Of The Reed Sea – Five Star
Freminet’s special weapon, Beacon Of The Reed Sea, will give him the most damage boost if you are building him to do a lot of cold damage. This claymore increases your chance of crits by 33.1% all the time, and it also makes your attack 20% stronger whenever you take damage or use an elemental skill.
These two attack bonuses can work together, and they can even happen when your character is not on the field. Unfortunately, you can only wish for this weapon during an event. It is not clear when you will be able to wish for this claymore again in the future.
