How to apply for PAN Card?

4. Mode of Payment:
The application charges for PAN Card are Rs.93 which excludes GST for Indian communication address. Whereas applications fees for PAN Card for Foreign communication address are Rs. 864 which excludes GST. Payment of the application fees can be definitely done with the help of credit card, debit card, demand draft or via net-banking. Acknowledgement will be given to the applicant. You need to save this acknowledgement number for future reference.

Once the application as well as the payment is made, the applicant is required to send the supporting documents through post or through courier to NSDL. How to make Changes or Corrections in PAN Card:
An applicant can also apply for the changes in PAN Card. He or she can apply to change the name, date of birth, address, phone number details or anything. An applicant has to apply online and the prodcedure is almost the same as it is for the application of the new PAN Card. Moreover, applicant has to submit the documents required to make the changes in the PAN Card.

Step 2: Again, the charges for making changes for Indian communication address is Rs93 whereas for the foreign communication address, it is Rs. 864 which excludes the GST. Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, demand draft and net banking. Once the payment is done, the acknowledgement is given to the applicant.
Step 3: Documents required to be sent to NSDL:
Once the application is accepted along with the payment, the applicant is required to submit the documents through post or courier. After submitting the documents, the changes will be processed by the NSDL. Applicants who can use this facility are:
- Married Women: Change of marriage name and surname. In such case, a married woman needs to submit marriage certificate, invitation card for marriage, a certificate from the gazetted officer with his permission to change name officially, passport copy showing husband’s name.
- Other than married woman: Gazette officer permission stating to change the name official.
- Companies: ROC aka Registrar of Companies certificate is mandatory for changing the company name.
- Parnership Firms:Copies of Partnership Deed
- For others: Agreement or Deed copies.
